Itinerary
- 3:40 hrs. – Departure from Mexico City. Meeting point: Lengua y cultura.
- 5:00 hrs. – Sunrise Kayak Adventure: Begin your journey with a peaceful kayak ride through the canals of Xochimilco. As the sun rises over the floating gardens, enjoy breathtaking scenery, birdlife, and a unique perspective of one of Mexico’s most treasured cultural landscapes.
- 7:00 hrs. – Axolotl Sanctuary Visit: Visit a local conservation center dedicated to protecting the axolotl, an endemic amphibian found only in the waters of Xochimilco.
- 8:00 hrs. – Temazcal ceremony: We will enter the “house of heat” (literal meaning of Temazcal in Nahuatl language). It is a shamanic ritual that dates back to pre-Columbian times and that, through several sweat sessions, allows a purification of the body and a relaxation of the mind.
- 9:30 hrs. – Traditional Mexican Breakfast: After your morning paddle, enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared with local ingredients and traditional recipes.
- 10:30 hrs. – Pulque Tasting Experience: Learn about the history of pulque, the ancient fermented beverage made from maguey sap that was once consumed during sacred ceremonies and reserved for nobility and priests.
- 11:00 hrs. – End of Experience: Back to Mexico City.
