No. Our tours are not formal lessons or certified instruction — they're an opportunity to practice conversational Spanish in real situations (ordering food, chatting with locals, exploring markets, etc.) with a guide who supports and corrects you along the way.
No minimum level is required. Our guides will walk you through the experience, creating a conversation pattern of your level of skill, so both beginners and more advanced speakers can get value from the experience.
That's okay! Guides typically speak English )and often oter languages) as well and can switch between languages as needed, gently introducing Spanish vocabulary and phrases throughout the tour.
Yes, our guides are native or fluent Spanish speakers from Mexico City with experience supporting language learners.

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the tour date receive a full refund; cancellations made less than 72 hours before receive a 50% refund. Full details are available in our Terms & Conditions.

Most tours involve walking for an extended period, sometimes on uneven terrain. Mexico City is also at high altitude (about 2,240 m / 7,350 ft), which some visitors may notice. Please let your guide know in advance of any mobility or health considerations.
